I can't have hens, how can I help?
We are a non-profit CIC (community interest company) and rely on donations from the community. If you can help in anyway this is a list of what we need on a regular basis and if you make a donation, this is what we will spend it on;
Item
Cost
Feed 6 hens per day
£1
Bale of hay
£5
Food for the pigs and sheep per day
£4
Sack of shavings for stable floor
£8
Sack of feed for the resident hens
£10
Round bale of haylage
£40
Wild bird/pigeon feed
£4
We keep all the poorly hens that we rescue and nurse them back to health, before we find them a forever home, if they are suitable to be rehomed. If not, they stay at Lucky Hens forever. Medicines and medical supplies come at a very high cost and we are very grateful for every penny we receive in donations.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us.
