Chipmunk - Appley Bridge
We are looking for a new home for our beautiful boy “Chipmunk”. We would love to keep him but he has begun to crow and our neighbours have started to complain so he cannot be rehomed to a situation with close neighbours. He is hand reared and a pet to us and he loves cuddles and pecking fluff off your clothing! We are going to miss him but we know that he is going to make his new owners very happy.
Butters - Bristol
This is Butters, a 9 month old Light Sussex cockerel. He is a very talkative character that cares for his ladies... he even gets into the nest boxes and chats away to show the point of lay hens what to do! He has a great crow that greets you whenever you visit and loves to be cuddled (although very protective of his ladies so needs to be approached from above). We would love to keep this chap but unfortunately have a few hens that are far too small for him and worried that he may injure them... so looking for a loving home with plenty of adult hens to keep him company! He has been given the very best start in life and deserves to live out the rest of his life as happy and well treated here! Please only consider this advert if you are genuinely wanting a pure bred chap that will roam freely with your hens. He will add great security and life to your flock.

Buff Orpington - Preston
10 month old Buff Orpington. He is a lovely big cockerel who is very happy with his wives but unfortunately has upset my neighbours with his crowing. It would be nice if he could find a new home with some other hens.

Two brothers - Melksham, Wiltshire
I have two lovely cockerels (one black, one grey) that are brothers about 3 years old They are not getting along now and try to steal all the girls. I think one would be happier with his own flock to tend. They are both friendly towards people and will hand feed. They have been used to free ranging and are healthy strong boys. I can't choose which to re home so anyone please say of they are interested in one of them.

Mixed breed 9 months old - Greater Manchester
He is a mixed breed approximately 9 months old. We are looking to re-home because we have another cockerel and not enough hens for them both.

Rami - East Linton
Rami, so called because he's uniquely handsome, is a young Rhode Island Red Cockerel. He was hatched and grown by the family I got him from in Dundee where he lived with his brother. Typical male behaviour means he's proved a stressful handful for me and my rescued hens but he's not agressive by nature - just doing what cockerels are meant to do. Having said that, anyone who rehomes him needs to have the experience, space and a secure fenced off run to keep him in.

Bradley - Norwich
Bradley is a silver-laced Wyandotte bantam cockerel. He is around 11 months old. He is a fantastic breeder and has now bred us another cockerel and we just don't have the space for them both in our tiny flock. He has a fantastic temperament with the hens and with us. Gorgeous glossy plumage and fit and healthy. I am giving him away for free and would ideally find him a happy home with other birds. I am happy to have him boxed-up ready for a contactless collection. I will consider delivering him but not too far.

Welsummer cross - Weymouth
We sadly have to rehome our handsome 9 months old Welsummer cross cockerel called "Hähnchen", bred by us last summer and reared in our back garden. He's very tame and used to being handled by our children. Unfortunately he is not getting on with his dad anymore, so is now rather urgently looking for a new home and his own flock to look after.

Neville - Warminster
Neville is half Bantam with beautiful black shiny feathers, dark jade in his wings and ginger head. He will be a year old in August. He loves looking after his girls and leading them around the garden looking for bugs. Having to rehome him as we've moved in to a more built up area and he's getting a bit noisy.
